1. General Policy

Due to the custom, made to order, additive manufacturing, and composite fabrication nature of our products, all sales are final.

Polt Designs does not accept returns, exchanges, or refunds except in cases of verified shipping damage.

This policy applies to 3D printed automotive parts, carbon fiber composite parts, custom fabricated components, made-to-order items, and limited production runs.

2. Shipping Damage Claims (Physical Products Only)

If your product arrives damaged due to shipping:
- You must notify us within 48 hours of delivery
- Clear photographic evidence of the damaged product, shipping box, and packaging materials is required
- The buyer agrees to cooperate fully with the carrier’s claim process

Refunds or replacements will only be issued after carrier claim approval and are limited to the amount recovered from the shipping carrier.

Failure to report damage within 48 hours voids eligibility for claim review.

3. What Is Not Considered Damage or Defect

The following are not valid reasons for return or refund:
- Visible 3D print lines
- Layer texture or surface variation
- Minor dimensional variation
- Slight asymmetry
- Installation damage
- Cosmetic expectations differing from personal preference
- Carbon weave pattern variance
- Resin micro-texture or surface character
- Normal fabrication marks consistent with handmade composite parts

All products are aftermarket performance parts and are not OEM-manufactured.

4. Digital STL Files – No Refunds

All digital file sales are final.

Polt Designs does not offer refunds for accidental purchase, change of mind, printer compatibility issues, scaling errors, slicer software settings, print quality results, or user error.

Buyer is responsible for ensuring compatibility with their equipment before purchase.

FAQ – Custom Work

Custom design and fabrication services may be available depending on project scope, complexity, and current production capacity.

If you are interested in a custom part, modification, or collaborative project, please contact Polt Designs directly to discuss feasibility, timeline, and pricing.

Custom projects are evaluated on a case by case basis. Deposits may be required prior to beginning any custom design or fabrication work. Once a custom project has entered the design or production phase, it is non-refundable.

FAQ – Street Legality

All products are aftermarket parts intended primarily for off-road or show use only.

Polt Designs makes no representation or warranty that any product complies with DOT regulations, Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards, state vehicle codes, or emissions regulations.

It is the buyer’s sole responsibility to determine legality in their jurisdiction.

FAQ – Fitment & Installation

Fitment may vary depending on vehicle trim level, model year differences, previous modifications, installation method, and environmental factors.

Buyer assumes responsibility for verifying compatibility before purchase. Minor adjustment or modification may be required.

By purchasing from Polt Designs, you acknowledge that:
1. All products are aftermarket components
2. All sales are final
3. You assume all responsibility for installation and use
4. Products are intended primarily for off-road or show use
5. Polt Designs is not liable for misuse, improper installation, or regulatory non-compliance

All matters are governed by the laws of the State of Idaho.
