3D-Printed Automotive Parts Disclaimer & Terms of Service

Polt Designs is a trade name and brand operated by Poltavskiy Investments LLC, an Idaho limited liability company ("Seller").

1. Manufacturing Process & Quality Expectations

All products sold by Seller are manufactured using additive manufacturing (3D printing) processes and are not injection-molded, cast, or OEM-manufactured parts.

Seller strives to produce the highest quality 3D-printed parts possible using professional equipment, reinforced materials such as ABS-GF (glass-fiber-reinforced ABS), and optimized production methods. However, due to the inherent nature of 3D printing, the following characteristics are normal, unavoidable, and expected:

·         Visible layer lines

·         Minor surface texture variations

·         Small cosmetic imperfections or internal voids

·         Slight visual differences between individual prints

2. Material & Structural Limitations

While ABS-GF provides improved rigidity, heat resistance, and durability compared to standard consumer filaments:

·         3D-printed parts do not possess the same isotropic strength, density, or fatigue resistance as injection-molded or OEM components

·         Performance may vary depending on print orientation, installation location, environmental exposure, and vehicle use

·         Long-term durability under heat, vibration, UV exposure, or mechanical stress cannot be guaranteed

·         By purchasing, the buyer acknowledges and accepts these material and structural limitations.

3. Intended Use – Aftermarket / Off-Road Use Only

All products sold by Seller are aftermarket components and are intended for off-road use only.

Seller makes no representation, warranty, or guarantee that any product:

·         Is street-legal

·         Meets Department of Transportation (DOT) standards

·         Complies with federal, state, or local vehicle regulations

·         Is approved for use on public roads

Buyer is solely responsible for determining legal compliance prior to installation or use on any vehicle operated on public roadways. Use of any product on public roads is at the buyer’s sole risk.

4. Installation & Assumption of Risk

All products are sold AS-IS.

The buyer assumes all responsibility for:

·         Proper installation

·         Vehicle compatibility

·         Safe use of the product

·         Professional installation is strongly recommended.

·         Seller shall not be held liable for vehicle damage, personal injury, property damage, mechanical failure, or consequential/incidental losses arising from installation, use, misuse, or inability to use the product.

5. No Warranties (Idaho-Compliant)

NO WARRANTIES.

To the fullest extent permitted under Idaho law, Seller disclaims all warranties, whether express or implied, including but not limited to:

·         Implied warranties of merchantability

·         Implied warranties of fitness for a particular purpose

·         Any warranty arising from course of dealing, usage, or trade

·         No oral or written statements made by Seller shall create a warranty of any kind.

6. Returns, Refunds & Shipping Damage Policy

Due to the custom and additive nature of 3D-printed products, all sales are final, except in cases of damage incurred during shipping.

Shipping Damage Claims:

·         The buyer must notify Seller within 48 hours of delivery

·         Clear photographic evidence of both product damage and shipping packaging is required

·         The buyer agrees to cooperate fully in the shipping carrier’s damage claim process

·         Refunds or replacements will only be issued after carrier claim approval

·         Refunds are limited to the amount recovered from the carrier

·         Returns will not be accepted for cosmetic appearance, surface texture, visible print lines, minor dimensional variation, or installation damage

7. No OEM Affiliation

Seller is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any vehicle manufacturer. All trademarks and vehicle names are used solely for compatibility reference purposes.

8. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms and all transactions with Seller shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Idaho.

Any legal action shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Idaho.

9. Acceptance of Terms

By purchasing from Seller, the buyer acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to this Disclaimer, the Terms of Service, and all policies published on the website. These terms apply to all sales, regardless of sales channel or platform.
